Pre-Shoot Checklist
A few minutes of prep. A noticeably better shoot.
Your home's first showing happens online. Our job is to make that first impression count — and a prepared home is half of every great photo. The checklist below covers what matters most: work through it before we arrive, and your listing will show the way it deserves to.
Important: Do NOT schedule any other vendors on the same day as media. (Cleaners, stagers, lawn service, etc. — please have these done the day before!)
Tip:Store clutter & personal items in closets & storage rooms (we don't typically shoot those). You can also move things into the garage if needed.

Bare Minimum
- Remove all cars from the driveway
- Close all windows
- Open all curtains and blinds
- Turn on all interior lights
Interior Prep
- Clean floors, windows & surfaces
- Declutter countertops & personal items
- Arrange furniture to show space
- Add fresh flowers or plants (optional)
Kitchen
- Clear counters & hide sponges/soap
- Wipe down appliances & sinks
- Tuck away trash bins & supplies
Living Room
- Straighten pillows and fold blankets
- Clear off coffee tables and side tables
- Hide cords, remotes, and personal items
- Arrange furniture to showcase the space
- Tuck away trash bins & supplies
Bedrooms
- Make beds neatly with neutral bedding
- Tidy nightstands & floors
- Hide personal items
Bathrooms
- Clear counters
- Hide toiletries
- Add fresh towels & clean mirrors
Exterior Prep
- Trim bushes & mow lawn
- Clear walkways & remove debris
- Fix railings, steps, or chipped paint
- Make sure all outdoor lights work
Final Touches
- Check all lights + replace bulbs
- Remove pets, bowls, and toys
- Do a quick final walkthrough
- Hide cords, chargers, and remotes
